I was born and lived near the Court Palace in a condo built in the early 50's inside the big park which belonged to Villa Ara (Globocnik's residence), blown after the war. House belonged to my grandfather and my mom and his brother often told me stories about the british soldiers passing by in a road near our yard. The road is still called by old neighbours "the british road". Just behind our building it still exists a large yellow building which was formerly a british HQ. Soldiers moved in and out all day and often they stopped to give candies to the neighbour kids. I'd like to know if anybody still remember this building in via Romagna and could tell me what it actually was. Best would be some period pics as well. I can provide some pics taken today, just tor refresh the memory
