Flying visit to Trieste

When I come out to Trieste in May , I hope that I will be able to meet some of the good friends I have made on this site and, just so that you will recognise us, this is Nita & I at Pisa in 2003. Perhaps you could let me see some of your own snaps ?

Many thanks for your kind thoughts, if we were writing a book then you and I would have met again in Trieste and we could have all paid a visit to San Giusto to see the spot where we saw Carmen so many years ago

As we are dealing, unfortunately, with real life I can only send my best wishes to Australia and will let you know in due course how our visit went off.

Like I have told you, just wave a kiss towards the Castle........I do have another ex Soldiers, in love with operas and the Castle....Rich Driscoll a very good friend of mine.

He was pretending to be Samson....and with both hands against the wall of the Castle imitated the Philistine......so he end up to be my Samson and me Delilah!

Delightful person, a very nice person.

Ciao tutti !

Just got back from 3 days in Trieste followed by 7 days in Vencice and thought you might like to see a few pics of my visit.
Highlight for Nita & I was a visit to Cafe Tommaseo to meet up with Maria (Lala).
More pictures after I have got myself back to normal !
