I know that you're not american but probably you can remember about the "Yankee Zaule Stadium" and the "Zaule Country Club" built by the Allies close to Zaule .
Have you got anything to tell us about it ?

In the link you are talking about there is a rough explanation about football matches, what I would like to hear is a description of the field made by someone who was there at that time, maybe with original pics.

don't forget opcina, the field at the end of via carsia... base ball and football i remember a teem from germany playing football, mast have been the champion ship ...mostly i remember is the smell of popcorn hotdogs and the rest of the aromas that only around americans you would have and don't mention the aroma around army baracs in the morning at breakfast time

I forgot to tell you, in does days I could have eaten a horse...no exaggeration a Lipizzaner would have done just fine.
