You see, my father went to the WW1 in 1917 and stayed there until the end. When he was called he was 19.
he wrote regular postcards to his family and they wrote to him, every day( the post was better than now).
Granny kept father's postcards, and father kept those from his parents. those written by Father went thrown away by Granny, while those from Trieste are still in my drawer. Dad passed them to me, to know from the letters how was my Grandfather, who died a few years later.
I have read some of them, but they were written in a small handwrinting and there was the war censorship, so a lot of news couldn't be written. And then there is a feeling of privacy, this is the reason for I don't write them down publicy.
I'll see if there' something not too private, and perhaps post something of them.
