Nessun problema - scrivi Inglese abbastanza bene. Una delle "punti buoni" di Inglese é che anche combinando un vero casino (non l'hai fatto!) sia scrivendo sia parlando, si puo capire lo stesso.
Per quanto riguardo le foto hai ragione - ma ci sono tante di piu qui

No problem - you write English well enough. One of the "good points" of English is that you can massacre the language (not that you did!), whether writing or speaking it, and it's still understandable.
Regarding the photos, you're right - but there are many more here

You can tell us something about your cooking, will you?

We were pretty good cooks (we think before we went to Italy. Whilst there, we really immersed ourselves in Italian culture and had the good fortune to be "adopted" by a nonna who taught my wife many aspects of traditional Italian cooking (OK, mostly Piemontese!) Now, we have a fusion - we cook Italian, Chinese, Indian and sometimes mix them together. My favourite example is Sugo allo Bolognese but we do the following variations:

• Turkey instead of beef
• Chinese five-spice powder instead of oregano, basilico, ecc.
• Lamb instead of beef
• served on rice instead of pasta
• a typically English "modification": add sweetcorn and/or peas and/or fine green beans

Both our grown-up children are back living with us temporarily and are also very accomplished in the kitchen. So we tend to eat very well as a rule
My wife,daughter and I have contributed recipes to a cooker book that was published, the proceeds going to charity.

I was reading a comic strip and I found the sentence "That's an awesome idea!"

I was in doubt: awesome has a positive or a negative meaning. I searched for the word on theOxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary:

1 very impressive or very difficult and perhaps rather frightening

2 (especially North American English, informal) very good, enjoyable, etc

Insomma la "awesome idea" è un'idea spaventosa o bellissima? Mah...
