Can the soldati inglesi anticipate a daily report from those 'on the spot' for the meeting ?

Liliana, Thanks for the reply, but no, not an actual factual report just anything that strikes you as funny, quirky or amusing while the G8 is in town, which might be worth putting on our website.
Webmaster Harry is always looking for material featuring TS.
Which part is Zone A, and which B. Let me guess !

Here's a map, but it's difficult to understand.
Let's say that it's prohibited to go by car or park in the pink zones.
But somewhere we cannot even walk through.
The "security zone" moves because of a dinner in a Museum, or something else.

It appears that the G8 folks had a dinner in the Villa Revoltella were they were served with some of the fresh salmon reared nowadays in Trieste at the Azienda Agricola ZOBEC.
Larry, beginning to get back to something approaching his old self. Cheers. :-D :-D :-D

We had an italian discussion in this topic about the dinner and the dishes, with some images of the meeting. The first dinner was not in Villa Revoltella but at Palazzo Revoltella in towncenter, in the historic rooms of the Museum. The second one was in the Miramare castle and park.
Larry, glad to read you again! :-D

Thanks for the map Liliana and the dining info. We did not get much here about the meeting more about SB and the 'girls'
Yes Larry is back in action. As Wimbledon reaches its final stages you cn read his thoughts about it on our website.
What is the name of the cinema which used to be the AKC in our time ?
I spent a lot of time there in 50/51 just when DORIS DAY was becoming well known. I was the film reviewer for the Forces Radio Station in TS.
Do you know anything about it ?

Ciao Lilliana e Baba.
OOOOOOPS, I've done it again. Oh well, I'll start again. Yes, I am now beginning to feel better. Baba, please pass my best regards to Nonna Piccia, Sum Culex and Sono Piccolo. BUT, now that I am feeling better, there are a lot of jobs to be done in the house, not to mention the garden, and so it may not be possible to devote as much time to the Forum as before, but I'll get there.
Wimbledon? Not been very interested this year. And now that Murray has been knocked out today, that's about it. Just wait for the Cricket to start but cannot seem to get enthusiastic about anything at present. I'll be back in touch very soon. Cheers, Larry

Hi Larry.
I'm very glad to see you back on the forum, but it's sad to know that you will not be here, as usual.
But I think that you will not work in your garden during the night.
So I hope that some evening, with a glass of whisky in one hand, you'll come and chat with us.
I wait you!
:ciao:
